ASICS has unveiled its highly anticipated Autumn Winter 2023 product lineup, featuring cutting-edge collections in Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, and ASICS SPORTSTYLE and Apparel. The launch took place at the ASICS Autumn Winter 2023 Media Preview Day in Bangkok, Thailand. Attendees experienced a diverse range of innovations in sports and fashion.
Rooted in Philosophy
ASICS remains true to its founding philosophy of “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” They aim to enhance both mental and physical well-being through movement. This collection seeks to inspire communities to prioritize physical activity for improved mental and physical health.
Sustainability Focus
In a commitment to sustainability, ASICS collaborated with Thai social activist turned artist WISHULADA.
Unique art installations using recycled ASICS footwear and apparel showcased the brand’s dedication to reducing carbon emissions, highlighting the ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III CM 1.95 as the brand’s eco-friendly shoe.
Performance Running Highlights
Under the Performance Running category, ASICS presented upgraded versions of its legacy models, including the GEL-CUMULUS 25, GEL-KINSEI MAX, and GEL-KAYANO 30. Notably, the 30th-anniversary edition of the ASICS GEL-KAYANO™ series, the GEL-KAYANO™ 30, was introduced. It features the innovative 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ for a comfortable and stable running experience.
Core Performance Sports Lineup
ASICS unveiled its Core Performance Sports category, featuring the limited-edition GEL-RESOLUTION 9 Tennis Shoe. BOSS collaborated to design it specifically for Italian Tennis Champion Matteo Berrettini. They also showcased the ACTIBREEZE AW23 line-up, known for advanced breathability, and the NAGINO Collection, designed to empower women and boost body confidence. ASICS launched the Move Every Mind study, a global initiative promoting exercise’s positive impact on mental health.
ASICS SPORTSTYLE Café
At the venue, the ASICS SPORTSTYLE Café displayed the latest ASICS SPORTSTYLE offerings. The ASICS AW23 Collection merges form, function, and fashion, featuring reimagined models such as the GT-2160, JAPAN S ST, and EX89. Collaborating with fashion house Cecile Bahnsen, the GT-2160 combines feminine couture elements with ASICS’ technical expertise. The JAPAN S-ST model updates the iconic basketball silhouette. Meanwhile, the EX89 presents fresh colourways.
