How Dododots and Aziz Harun Turned Skincare Into a Cultural Collab?

More Than Skin Deep

In a time when skincare doubles as self-care and identity, Dododots has once again broken the mould—this time with a bold collaboration featuring Bruneian-Malaysian singer-songwriter Aziz Harun. Known for their colour-forward acne patches and unapologetic attitude toward skincare stigma, the brand introduces its latest limited-edition: Dododots x Aziz Harun, launching nationwide on 6 June 2025.

But this isn’t just a pimple patch drop—it’s a love letter to every Gen Z teen who ever felt seen through music and healed through breakout-friendly beauty.

Music That Sticks

This isn’t your average celeb x beauty partnership. The collection is rooted in Aziz’s viral single “Good Girl,” with designs that fuse lyrical sentiment and visual expression. Each set contains 25 hydrocolloid patches, illustrated with custom motifs by Aziz and his creative team, meant to uplift users on their roughest skin days. The collection also includes an exclusive photocard, with five collectable versions—and if you’re lucky, one of the 100 signed by Aziz himself.

“I use these myself”, Aziz said during the pre-launch event at Emhub, Kota Damansara. “It’s not just merch—it’s a real reflection of what I believe in. I hope fans wear them proudly.”

The Collective Glow-Up

The event, which featured Naki as the opening act, was as much about connection as it was about product. Fans joined mini games, soaked in the performances and witnessed the merging of two rising forces—beauty and music—on one confident stage.

The brand’s co-founders Esther and Ethan Wong said the goal was simple: give artists the space to express through skincare. It’s an ethos Dododots lives by—from the cockroach-shaped “Your Ex” patch that went viral earlier this year, to colourful vending machines popping up in Sunway Pyramid, MyTOWN and even Singapore’s Plaza Singapura.

What’s Next for Dododots

With Guardian stocking Dododots in over 600 locations in Malaysia and hundreds more in Singapore and Vietnam, the brand is quickly becoming a staple for next-gen skincare lovers. This new drop however, represents more than innovation—it’s about cultural visibility, fan intimacy and showing that confidence can be worn, one dot at a time.

Stick With Confidence

Whether you’re in it for the collectable or the community, the Dododots x Aziz Harun launch is a reminder that looking after your skin is personal—but never lonely. In a world of beauty and noise, these dots speak louder.
