Luckin Coffee Gets Buttery for the Holidays

Just when you thought your year-end coffee cravings couldn’t get any sweeter, Luckin Coffee Malaysia decided to stir in a little magic and a whole lot of butter.

Teaming up with Thailand’s beloved Butterbear, the brand introduces two new festive lineups, the Little Butter Series and Holiday Series, starting 7 November 2025 across 12 Luckin Coffee outlets in the Klang Valley.

The theme, “Have a Buttery Holiday”, says it all how creamy, cosy, and unapologetically indulgent. It’s not just a drink menu; it’s a holiday mood board in a cup.

The Little Butter Series: Buttery Bliss, Elevated

Let’s start with the star of the day, the Little Butter Series, a collaboration that brings Luckin’s coffee craftsmanship into creamy, nutty harmony.

The Little Butter Latte, Singapore’s top bestseller in 2024, makes its Malaysian debut with a buttery-flavoured dairy base swirling into rich espresso. It’s smooth, aromatic, and irresistibly comforting; the kind of drink that feels like a hug after a long day. Its counterpart, the Little Butter Americano, offers a more mellow balance, letting the espresso shine through its velvety butter finish.

Both are available from 7 November, making them the first must-try sips of the holiday season.

The Holiday Series: Sip, Smile, Repeat

Then comes the second act — the Holiday Series, rolling out in waves through December. The Tiramisu Latte (14 Nov) captures that classic dessert vibe — espresso, cocoa, and creamy sweetness layered to perfection. The Toffee Hazelnut Latte (5 Dec) adds a caramelised richness that pairs beautifully with Malaysia’s rainy-day afternoons. For chocolate lovers, Joyful Cocoa (5 Dec) is pure comfort in a cup filled with creamy, rich, and nostalgia-laced. Finally, the Soufflé Latte (29 Dec) crowns the collection with custard cream on espresso, a treat so indulgent it practically flirts with dessert.

A Coffee Collab Made for the ‘Gram

Luckin Coffee didn’t stop at drinks. It went full festive takeover, transforming 12 outlets into Butterbear wonderlands with adorable displays, photo corners, and exclusive collectables. Expect Butterbear enamel pins, mugs, stickers, and even Polaroid frames, all releasing in different phases throughout November and December.

The aesthetic? Think café chic meets cartoon-core; warm lighting, creamy tones, and just the right amount of cuteness to make your iced latte blush.

The Verdict: Malaysia’s Most Delightful Coffee Moment

Between the buttery textures and whimsical branding, Luckin Coffee’s latest launch feels like a masterclass in experiential sipping. It is the kind of campaign that truly understands how Malaysians enjoy coffee or not merely as caffeine, but as a source of comfort, creativity, and community.

So, whether you’re catching up with friends or just craving that 4 p.m. pick-me-up, make it a Little Butter kind of day. After all, a buttery holiday isn’t just a theme — it’s a whole mood.
