Returning for its second edition, The Highlighter’s Best of Beauty Awards 2025 celebrates the outstanding achievements that continue to shape the beauty landscape. With categories spanning skincare, makeup, and hair care, the awards spotlight products that redefine beauty standards and elevate everyday routines.

Expert Judging Panel
A panel of seasoned professionals and beauty editors brings extensive industry knowledge to the table. Their unbiased assessments ensure the credibility of the awards, while their expertise helps highlight products that deliver real results.
Diverse Categories
From game-changing serums to innovative makeup products, the awards cover a wide range of categories. This diversity ensures that every aspect of beauty is celebrated, reflecting the industry’s creativity and innovation.
Step-by-Step Guide on How to Join The Highlighter Best of Beauty Awards
- Submit your product for entry via our online submission form.
- Wait for the team to contact you via e-mail to confirm your submission.
- Once the submission is approved, we will send an email with an invoice for entry [MYR 300].
- Once the invoice has been paid. E-mail us your brand logo and product photos.
- Send us 7 full-size products for review. [ 4 products for judges + 1 for photoshoot + 1 for display at KLIBW +1 Crowd Favourite giveaway competition]
- Choose your tier.
- Winners will be announced online on the 1st of October 2025.
- Join us at KLIBW, and visit The Highlighter MY booth to view the award-winning products.
Transparency and Public Involvement
Transparency is key to the awards process. Followers are kept informed about the judging criteria, product evaluations, and the final selection of winners. Additionally, the Crowd Favorite category allows the public to vote for their all-time favourite products via Instagram and TikTok, ensuring that consumer preferences play a role in the outcome.
Submission Guidelines
- Each brand can submit up to three products for an entry fee of MYR300. Additional products can be submitted at MYR150 each.
- For each product, provide seven units: four for judges, 1 for photoshoot,1 for display at KLIBW and 1 for crowd favourites online competition.
- Submit brand logo and product photos with a white background in JPEG format. Submissions without product photos will be rejected.

In submitting an entry for any of the categories, you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated from time to time without prior written notice at our discretion.
Submission Deadlines
- Entry submissions are open from now until 30th June 2025.
- Product samples must be submitted before 31st July 2025.
Beauty Awards Packages
Brands can choose from three award packages, each offering different levels of exposure and recognition:
- Tier 1: This is included with the entry fee and features the product photo and name on the website (non-clickable).
- Tier 2: Featuring the product photo with a clickable link to the brand’s website or shop, along with a brief description or review.
- Tier 3: Offering the same benefits as Tier 2, plus an award presented on stage during the KLIBW 2025 Awards Ceremony at Mid Valley.
Judging Process and Timeline
A panel of three industry experts, including a beauty editor, will evaluate the submitted products. Public opinion will also be gathered through social media platforms, and the Crowd Favorite category will be determined by votes cast on Instagram and TikTok. Two lucky voters will be randomly selected to win product giveaways.

Perks for Winners
Winners will receive a dedicated feature on The Highlighter’s website, reaching an audience of over 1 million users. Additionally, personalised social media content will be shared across The Highlighter’s platforms, and winners will gain exposure to a database of 50,000 beauty clients.
