Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Season is back!
Set against the bold backdrop of KLCC Park, this year’s shows prove that local design doesn’t just follow trends—it defines them.
From August 4 to 10, the KLFW 2025 runway highlights will play out like a tightly choreographed cultural spectacle. A record-breaking 55 designers will take over the sleek, purpose-built venue, making the 13th season KLFW’s most visually ambitious one yet.

Local Legends and First-Time Fireworks
Opening with Suria KLCC Presents Sofia Iman, fashion week starts strong. Her debut is anything but quiet—structured cuts, rich textures, and just enough drama to remind us that the new guard is ready. The comeback collections of Hatta Dolmat, Ezzati Amira, and Mimpikita remind us why they’ve held our attention for a decade. Their tailoring? Still razor sharp. Their storytelling? Stronger than ever.
But the real buzz pulses around the rising stars. Akmal Hakim, Ugly Pretty, and ShazNash made it very clear that KL’s next generation is not here to play polite. They’re here to disrupt.
One City, One Calendar, One Moment
With daily shows running from noon to nearly midnight, KLFW 2025’s calendar is packed and unapologetically bold. From the sustainability-forward “Design to Sustain” showcase to couture debuts from Teh Firdaus and Radzuan Radziwill, the week balances fashion with purpose.

And let’s not ignore the front row: packed with creatives, editors, influencers—and enough fringe and vinyl to style a decade.
The Verdict
KLFW 2025 isn’t trying to be Paris or Milan. It didn’t need to. It was rawer. Realer. And proudly regional. For one week, Kuala Lumpur proved that local isn’t lesser—it’s layered. Emotional. Experimental. And incredibly stylish.
