The Fesive Season is here!
December is when the calendar fills up with celebratory dates with family and friends. At Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, the festive season unfolds with joy, offering plenty to celebrate. From early December through the new year, the hotel leans into the holidays with a programme that’s polished, welcoming, and designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.
From Family-friendly staycations, festive buffets, and Champagne-led countdowns to set the tone for elegant evenings. Add in festive takeaways that take the pressure off hosting, and the season becomes refreshingly simple. Whether you’re stopping by for afternoon tea, booking a Christmas meal, or stretching celebrations into a long weekend, everything flows smoothly, leaving room to relax and enjoy the moment.
A Staycation That Feels Festive

The hotel’s Festive Wonder staycation runs from 1 December 2025 to 11 January 2026 and requires a minimum two-night stay. It includes accommodation for two adults and one child under 12, daily breakfast at Mosaic, festive in-room amenities, and complimentary access to the Little Explorer Club.
What elevates the package are the experiential touches. Guests can choose one festive activity per stay: a gingerbread cookie-making workshop at the hotel, a festive skating experience at Suria KLCC, or a drink at Mesa on 51 with Petronas Twin Towers views. Children receive letters-to-Santa postcards at check-in, while Santa’s Workshop photo opportunities run from 6 to 25 December.
Carolers perform in the lobby on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and Santa himself makes appearances on both days. Room rates vary by date and category, but the value lies in how seamlessly the festivities are woven into the stay.
Festive Flair Buffets

Mosaic’s Festive Line-Up
Mosaic’s weekend buffets are the highlight of festive dining. The Roast Weekend Buffet, served on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm, is priced at RM 255 per adult and RM 154 per child. It leans classic, with generous carving stations and enough variety to justify repeat visits.
On Sundays, the Festive Seafood Market Lunch Buffet (12.30pm to 3pm) includes seafood on ice priced at RM 265 per adult and RM 160 per child. This is a buffet that is indulging and a great way to spend a weekend with your loved ones. Make sue to go back for seconds, but save room for dessert.

Lounge On The Park serves a Sparkling Afternoon Tea priced at RM 158 per person, including a glass of sparkling tea. It’s available from 2.30pm to 6pm on weekdays and from 3pm on weekends, and it’s ideal for those easing into the season rather than diving headfirst.
At MO Bar, a glass of Bollinger Champagne paired with a prawn-filled Kalamata olive snack is priced at RM 108. Simple, celebratory, and effective.
