KLIBW 2026: Your Guide to Kuala Lumpur’s Biggest Beauty Weekend This October
KL International Beauty Week 2026 is back this month.
From October 9 to 11, 2026, KL International Beauty Week, better known as KLIBW, will take over Halls 1 of Mid Valley Exhibition & Convention Centre (MVEC) in Kuala Lumpur. More than 120 local and international brands spanning skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness and men’s grooming will gather for three days of launches, shopping, beauty discoveries, creator experiences and live activations.
The best part? General Admission is free. Secure your tickets early via Ticket2u to beat the queue. Goodie bags are given out on a first come first serve basis.
But KLIBW 2026 isn’t positioning itself as simply another place to replenish your moisturiser. This year’s event is evolving into a full-fledged BeautyCon, bringing the people who buy beauty, create beauty content and build beauty businesses into the same room.
And considering more than 28,000 people attended KLIBW in 2025, you may want to plan your visit before October arrives.
KLIBW 2026 Is Getting Bigger
KLIBW has come a long way since launching in 2022. Last year’s edition welcomed more than 28,000 public attendees and generated over 264 million in combined social reach, and the event is now widening its scope to reflect how dramatically our relationship with beauty has changed.
Beauty discovery no longer happens solely at a counter. We find a foundation shade on TikTok, watch someone test a serum during a livestream, screenshot a creator’s fragrance recommendation and buy a product from an affiliate link before we’ve even encountered it in person.
KLIBW 2026 wants to bring those worlds together.
“When we started KLIBW in 2022, our aim was to build a Malaysian beauty platform where local brands could grow alongside international names and connect with the wider beauty community,” says Lira Jamaluddin, Creative Director of KL International Beauty Week.
“This year, KLIBW is evolving into a BeautyCon, bringing beauty, content, community and commerce together.”
More Than 120 Beauty, Fragrance and Wellness Brands
More than 120 local and international names will appear across skincare, makeup, fragrance, wellness and men’s grooming, mixing established favourites with emerging labels and homegrown Malaysian businesses.
Expect exclusive product launches, new beauty discoveries and interactive brand experiences throughout the weekend, alongside creator- and KOL-led activation.
The appeal of an event like KLIBW is being able to actually experience beauty before buying it. Instead of staring at another product photograph online, you can swatch, smell, test, compare and ask questions, then discover something from a brand that may not previously have been on your radar.
KLIBW Is Going Big for 10.10
The dates are no coincidence. Saturday falls on October 10, placing KLIBW directly in the middle of the 10.10 shopping moment.
For 2026, the event is introducing LIVE online selling and live 10.10 deals from KLIBW, connecting what is happening inside MVEC with shoppers online.
There will also be a dedicated area for beauty content creators, affiliates and LIVE hosts, featuring Q&A sessions with leading hosts, insights into online selling, beauty founders, makeup demonstrations and more.
KLIBW is also launching its Personal Shopper and Affiliate Programme, extending the event’s reach to shoppers who may not necessarily be walking around the exhibition themselves.
“We want to drive Malaysia’s beauty sales both online and offline, and create opportunities that continue beyond the event,” says Jamaluddin. For creators, meanwhile, there will be opportunities for on-site product reviews, making the exhibition floor as much a content playground as a shopping destination.
There’s a Limited-Edition KLIBW Beauty Product
Here’s one for the beauty collectors.
Malaysian skincare brand By Eggs is creating a specially curated limited-edition clay mask exclusively for KL International Beauty Week 2026.
The homegrown label is known for combining high-performance formulations with sensorial textures and mood-boosting scents under its “Playful Luxury, Serious Results” philosophy. The special clay mask will feature KLIBW branding, making it one of the event exclusives worth looking out for when the doors open.
The KLIBW Beauty Passport Is Back
If you enjoy beauty samples almost as much as discovering a new holy-grail product, you’ll want a Beauty Passport.
Registered General Admission visitors will receive one upon attending KLIBW. The idea is simple: explore participating booths, collect stamps and samples, and work your way towards a complimentary beauty goodie bag.
There will be 3,000 complimentary beauty goodie bags available every day, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. With tens of thousands of visitors expected across the weekend, we’d suggest interpreting “first come, first served” quite literally.
Beauty Express Gets You In Two Hours Early
Anyone who takes beauty shopping particularly seriously has another option.
For RM38, a Beauty Express Ticket gets you into KLIBW from 10am on Friday, October 9, two hours before General Admission begins at noon. That means two hours to browse launches, visit brands and work through your beauty wish list before the wider Friday crowd enters.
Beauty Express ticket holders will also receive a curated beauty bag worth RM100.
General Admission remains free, so Beauty Express isn’t necessary to attend. Think of it as the option for anyone who values early access and an extra beauty haul. You can register for tickets via Ticket 2u.
There’s Plenty Happening Beyond Shopping
Your credit card isn’t the only thing getting a workout. The KLIBW 2026 Makeup Competition, sponsored by SILKYGIRL, will put makeup artistry and creative talent in the spotlight, while The Highlighter MY Best of Beauty Awards will also take place as part of this year’s programme.
Creator and KOL activation will run throughout the event, alongside makeup demonstrations, product experiences and other on-ground activities. Then there are the prizes.

Someone can discover a product at KLIBW in the morning, review it that afternoon and influence someone else’s purchase that evening.

Come for the 120-plus brands and you may end up staying for a makeup demonstration. Arrive looking for a new fragrance and you might leave with an emerging Malaysian skincare label bookmarked.
