‘The World’s Best Music’ Comes to Life

‘The World’s Best Music’ comes alive in KL—a one-night orchestral tribute where film scores turn into unforgettable emotion.

Where Music Becomes Memory: A Night with BN Team Ensemble

The World’s Best Music

A Symphony of Cinema at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas

On June 18, 2025, the concert hall at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas won’t just host a performance—it will hold a cinematic soul. For one night only, BN Team Ensemble, an internationally celebrated group of classical musicians from Kazakhstan, will bring The World’s Best Music to life in Kuala Lumpur.

More than just a show, this tribute to iconic film composers is ultimately a transportive experience. From the aching romance of Titanic to the grandeur of Game of Thrones and the dreamy charm of Bridgerton, this orchestral evening promises goosebumps, glamour, and nostalgia in every note.

A Global Ensemble with a Heart for Storytelling

With over 200 sold-out shows across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, BN Team Ensemble’s reputation precedes them. But it’s not just technical brilliance that fills venues from Dubai to Baku—it’s emotion. It’s the intimate, invisible thread that turns a concert into a collective catharsis.

At the helm is Yernar Nurtazin, the ensemble’s conductor and emotional anchor. “Our mission is to make people feel like they’re living inside the soundtrack of their favourite film,” he says. “Every note is a memory. Every melody, a portal.”

A Tribute to the Greats

The evening is set to feature works by Ennio Morricone, Ludovico Einaudi, Joe Hisaishi, and Yiruma—composers who’ve defined the sound of cinematic emotion across continents.

These are the artists who taught us that music doesn’t just accompany a story—it is the story. Whether it’s the ethereal stillness of Studio Ghibli or the haunting build of The Great Gatsby, their scores are stitched into the fabric of how we remember the movies we love.

The Ensemble Behind the Magic

A tightly knit collective of virtuosos, the performers include Zhanara Makhmutova (1st violin), Kamila Zhunussova (2nd violin), Tomiris Bolat (viola), Alisher Dutbayev (cello), Rassul Izatov (bass guitar), and Rakhymzhan Serikbayev (drums). Together, they form a kind of musical constellation—each star distinct, but brilliant in unison.

With Aleksey Sokolov behind the scenes as sound engineer, the concert’s auditory experience promises cinematic clarity, intimacy, and intensity.

One Night. One Stage. Countless Emotions.

The World’s Best Music is not just for film buffs or classical purists—it’s for anyone who’s ever cried at a soundtrack or dreamed in slow motion to a score. It’s for the moments we didn’t know were defined by music—until now.
