Roéma Atelier hosted its Malaysian debut with a curated showcase featuring two of Indonesia’s most celebrated couture names — Stellarissa and Yogie Pratama.

The afternoon unfolded within the hotel’s Colonial Café, where guests were invited for hi-tea while experiencing a trunk show that blurred the lines between fashion presentation and cultural exchange. Tastemakers, style icons, and industry insiders filled the room, signaling the arrival of a new chapter in Malaysia’s couture narrative.

Roéma’s Vision
Founded by Tuscany Leau and Felita Wibisono, Roéma Atelier has quickly positioned itself as a platform dedicated to elevating Southeast Asian couture. Their philosophy? Curating designers whose work blends craftsmanship, innovation, and narrative.
“At Roéma, we see ourselves as curators and custodians of Southeast Asia’s couture artistry,” shared Tuscany and Felita. “We select designers whose work embodies timeless craftsmanship and visionary design, and in turn, provide them with a platform and the service experience to connect deeply with brides here.”

The showcase in Kuala Lumpur was more than an event; it was a statement about regional talent deserving a spotlight on the world stage.
Stellarissa’s Yin and Yang
The first act of the presentation belonged to Stellarissa, the fashion house led by Stella Rissa. Known for her modern approach to femininity, Stella introduced an exclusive collection built around a bold black-and-white palette inspired by Yin and Yang.

The pieces balanced sharp structure with graceful proportion. Clean lines and intentional detailing echoed a philosophy of elegance that was both minimalist and powerful. For Malaysian audiences, the collection resonated as an exercise in refined simplicity, where every stitch felt purposeful.
“Collaborating with Roéma was a joy,” said Stella. “Together, we affirmed that the creative excellence of Southeast Asia rightfully belongs on the world stage.”
Yogie Pratama’s Whimsical World
If Stellarissa represented balance, Yogie Pratama brought the dream. His collection, aptly titled Whimsical, turned the Colonial Café into a storybook of couture imagination.
Frothy tulle gowns floated like clouds, blush-toned silks whispered against the floor, and delicate embroidery created the kind of magic that lingers long after the last model leaves the runway. Yogie’s vision leaned into fantasy but never lost touch with the technical precision that has made him a name on the international stage. Celebrities such as Ariana Greenblatt, Pevita Pearce, and Christina Aguilera have all worn his creations, and this Malaysian debut only confirmed his global appeal.
“Our partnership with Roéma is rooted in a shared vision,” Yogie said. “We are united by a commitment to craft, detail, and service excellence.”
More Than Couture
With Stellarissa and Yogie Pratama as its debut designers, Roéma Atelier signaled its intent to become a gateway for Southeast Asian couture in Malaysia. For Kuala Lumpur’s fashion community, the event wasn’t simply about admiring dresses — it was about reimagining what regional talent could mean on the world stage.
In a fashion landscape increasingly dominated by global brands, Roéma’s debut reminded everyone that some of the most compelling voices come from just across the region.
